In this Info Day, we'll cover:

🗓️Date: 18th May OR 15th June 2025 (Sunday)

🕛Time: 10am - 11.30am

📍Location: Online via Zoom (link will be sent 3 days before the event)

Competition Format

The competition takes place over two days:

• 11th October (Saturday): Categories C & D
• 12th October (Sunday): Categories A & B

For Category A (5-6 Years Old):

• Live Speaking Exposure with Prepared Speech and Q&A.
• These participants are not competing - it's an experience-based format focused on exposure and public speaking skill development.

For Categories B, C & D (7-12 Years Old):

1. Stage 1: Live Audition with Prepared Speech and Q&A (Top 5 selected)
2. Stage 2: Grand Final featuring Prepared Speech again plus impromptu speech

• Category B: Individual Impromptu Speech
• Category C: Individual Impromptu Speech
• Category D: Panel Discussion followed by Individual Impromptu Speech

Impromptu Component in Grand Final:

• Category B & C: Individual impromptu speech based on a provided prompt
• Categories D: Panel discussion followed by individual impromptu speech, evaluating spontaneity and interactive skills

Live Audition Theme: Confidence

Category A & B Topic (Ages 5-8):

What is one time when you felt confident and also a little nervous? What happened, and how did you feel after?

Category C & D Topic (Ages 9-12):

What does confidence mean to you? Do you think being confident means you're never scared? Tell us about someone you look up to who is confident and why you admire them.

5 grand finalists will be selected from each category after the Live Audition, happening on the same day as Grand Final.

There are a total of 4 categories:

Category A: 5 to 6 years old (Date of birth: 1 Jan 2019 – 31 Dec 2020)

Category B: 7 to 8 years old (Date of Birth: 1 Jan 2017 – 31 Dec 2018)

Category C: 9 to 10 years old (Date of Birth: 1 Jan 2015 – 31 Dec 2016)

Category D: 11 to 12 years old (Date of Birth: 1 Jan 2013 – 31 Dec 2014)

Participants’ age and category is determined by the year they were born in.

In this example, your child would considered 11 years old and will be in Category D.

Hankidz People’s President is an additional contest alongside President’s Speech.

How it works:

• Participants record a shorter version of their Live Audition speech
• They submit this recording to the organizers
• The videos will be published on the HANKidz Speaking School Facebook Page
• The winner is determined by counting shares from users who have liked the Hankidz Speaking School Facebook page
• Each category will have ONE winner

Important notes:

• This social media contest has NO EFFECT on the results of the main President's Speech 2025 competition
• Winners receive a separate special award
• Participation optional but highly encouraged for participants to share their powerful message!
